Here’s an update regarding the VOD services:
Issue with some series not working (reported about a week to 10 days ago):
We have restored 85,000 episodes back to clients, and an additional 15,000 episodes will be available very soon.
This means 75% to 80% of the issue has already been resolved.
Issue with many English VOD titles going offline yesterday evening:
As of now, services are back online.
The issue was due to a physical hardware problem, which has been partially fixed. Although we’ve resolved the immediate issue, the hardware limitation means there’s still some risk while transferring data.
Clarification on Key Concerns:
Will we lose all VOD content?
No, absolutely not.
Were the affected servers hosting a large number of popular English VOD titles?
No, only a small portion of these titles were impacted.
If the server encounters issues again during data transfers, will we experience prolonged downtime?
In the event of another issue, VOD services might be down temporarily for a few hours, up to 36 hours.
