Troubleshooting App and Service Issues

Here are the steps you can do before contacting support.

 

1) Force close/stop the app (If you don't know what that is , you must learn), clear cache (Delete Data only as a last resort), restart your modem or router or both, once back online, restart your device (Firestick).  Follow this order.  You should never (almost) need to uninstall and re-install.

2) Check the Application permission for Files and Media.  Access to Files and Media.

3)  Make sure your invoice is paid and check with us to make sure we renewed you. My Invoices

4) Make sure you have set all the developer options prior to installing (See app installation Instructions). Installing Gen4 App  Installing New Gen5 App (2025). 

5) If your ISP (Internet Service Provider) gave you new equipment recently (Commonly a modem and router as separate devices), my have a mobile app to manage your device (system).  You must turn off the advanced security (ex: Spectrum: Active Armor) These services will interfere with our "path" to our streaming servers. (Spectrum, Comcast, ATT).

6) Make sure you have at least 1GB of free storage on your device at all times.  Clear all app cache regularly and uninstall any unnecessary applications when possible.

7) If your ISP connection coming into your house is not clean and trouble free, you will have issues as basic browsing does NOT put a high load on your internet connection. Must support a steady stream without interruption.

8) If your device is NOT hardwired (ethernet cable) and being used off of WiFi, then your wireless network must be powerful enough and fast enough to provide a steady signal to your device while streaming.

9) Install Background Apps and Processes app.  This app helps your Force Close/Stop (depending on device) ALL apps easily that are running on your device. Highly recommend.  Background Apps

10) If you know how or know someone that does, I recommend changing the DNS on your WAN port to googles (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4).  This way you are not reaching out to your ISP for your internet requests (than track you).
